
Full Range Communication
During this course we focus on communication with your coworkers and people around you.
You will receive tools to become more aware of yourself, how you are perceived and what affects you and your way of communicating, how you get across what you want to say, avoid misunderstandings, handle difficult conversations and conflict-filled situations, and how you become better at understanding others.
The result is better collaboration, increased efficiency, stronger relationships and a more enjoyable everyday life.
WHAT?
Understanding what affects communication between people
Insight into how you communicate, how you are perceived and how you perceive the communication of others
Non-verbal communication; body, voice, speed, etc. and how you can use this to build trust and reach out.
Common communication pitfalls and how your approach and focus affect communication
Increased self-awareness in communication. “What Pär says about Pål says more about Pär than about Pål.”
Identify the four communication styles in yourself and others
Adapt your communication style for more effective communication
Techniques and tools for clear, effective and supportive communication: Powerful questioning techniques, Active listening, Affirmative, Mirroring
Communication training based on the Experience Cube and the Giraffe Language
The differences between observation, interpretation, feelings and wants/needs
Give and receive feedback
Tools for conflict management and problem-solving conversations
Tools for coaching and supportive conversations
How to handle ruler techniques



HOW?
We alternate shorter theory sections with reflection and communication exercises as well as practical conversation training linked to the situations and types of conversations that you as a participant feel you want to practice.
We work in pairs, small groups and as a whole group. A lot of feedback and support is given from both the course leader and between course participants.

This course is aimed at those of you who want to improve your communication skills and your ability to interact with others and get things done. The course is suitable for those of you who are leaders as well as employees, or those of you who generally work with a lot of communication and conversations with people and perhaps have some form of personnel contact.
